Tour 2: Konakli Yeniköy Hamaxia

  

 

We ride along the coast in western direction , 12 km until Konakli were we turn to the direction of Toslak. Here we have the first uphill of 2 km and a fast Downhill off road of 1 km. On the next turn we find a well (nessesary in summer) and we turn right before Toslak to the Direction of Yeniköy. We ride through a wounderfull Valey in eastern direction . It's a trail that invites us to cycle very fast , if we not prefere to enjoy the beautyfull nature. We have to climb up again on an extra steep trail and enjoy another downhill on the other side. Now we reach Elikesik (this means cuttet hand but don't be afraid please). If there is enough power left we it's going up to Hamaxia , ruins of a city that was given to Kleopatra by Antonius.

 

She buildet ships from the wood around is sayed , and it may be through on the mountain there are still only little bushes . And there are a few very friendly people living , (they have also a part of 'not understanding' for mountainbikers like it's usually in the mountains around Alanya). From Hamaxia we enjoy a wounderfull few over Alanya and finish this Tour with a 3 km downhill trail till Alanya.
